Emergency Plumbing Services
+ How quickly can you respond to an emergency?
We attend 85% of emergency call-outs within 24 hours. We aim to respond to emergencies promptly within Brighton , Hove, and the surrounding Sussex areas. I should add this is subject to how busy we are at the time. As we are a local plumbing firm with a skilled team of plumbers we are often able to attend callouts at quite short notices as compared to one man band firms. However at times of particularly high call volumes we can be a bit slower. Also please note we do not currently offer out of hours coverage. Call us to find out more.
+ What should I do if I have a burst pipe or leak before the plumber arrives?
If possible, shut off your water supply (stopcock) and try to contain the leak with towels or a bucket. Then, give us a call, and we’ll guide you on the next steps.

+ Can you fix low water pressure in my home?
Yes, we can investigate and often resolve issues with low water pressure, including water tank overflow repairs and related problems.
+ Do you repair or replace boilers?
Yes, we provide boiler repairs, servicing, and installation for all leading brands. We are advanced installers for Ideal boilers and can offer extended warranties with the installation of these boilers.
+ Can you install new bathroom fixtures (toilets, sinks, showers)?
Yes, we handle installations for various bathroom fixtures and can help ensure everything functions efficiently. We can also quote you for a new bathroom.
+ Do you offer services for blocked drains and pipes?
Absolutely! We provide expert unblocking and repairs for drains, toilets, and sinks. We don’t offer an unblocking service for main sewer pipes though just your household waste pipes.
+ Can you install underfloor heating?
Yes, underfloor heating installation can be included in our central heating design and installation services.

+ How much do your plumbing services typically cost?
Costs vary depending on the service, but we pride ourselves on transparent pricing with no hidden fees. We are competitive on price. Call us for a tailored quote.
+ Do you charge by the hour or provide fixed-price services?
This depends on the nature of the works involved. We aim to provide fixed-price services whenever possible. Costs are usually agreed upon in advance to ensure clarity.
+ Are there any hidden costs I should be aware of?
No, we are committed to transparent pricing with no surprises. At the end of the day though if a repair turns out to be a big problem say your boiler is beyond economical repair then understandably you could be looking at a bigger bill. We overwhelmingly do our best to avoid such scenarios for our customers as we understand the distress such situations can cause and we will do our utmost to fix your problem as efficiently and economically as possible.
Warranty & Guarantees
+ Do your services come with a warranty?
Yes! Most of our workmanship is guaranteed up to 12 months but exclusions do apply. If you have any queries regarding this do call us to discuss.
+ What happens if the problem reoccurs repair?
You will be please to hear that 86% of our call-outs are first time fixes with no callbacks. In the rare occasion a problem reoccurs, get in touch, and we will assess and resolve the issue promptly.

+ How far in advance do I need to book an appointment?
Whilst we endeavour to offer same-day services where possible, we recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time slot.
+ Do I need to be home during the repair or installation?
It’s preferable for someone to be present to discuss details and approve work, at the same time we are happy to work around your needs.

+ Do you install water-filter devices?
Yes, we offer water filtration and softening services to enhance efficiency and water quality.
+ Can you upgrade my boiler to a more energy-efficient model?
Absolutely! We specialise in installing energy-efficient combi and Worcester boilers.

+ Do you provide landlord gas safety certificates for rental properties?
Yes, we provide gas safety certificates for landlords. We also provide a range of landlord plumbing services.
